The 4-Star-hotel Steinburg was erected on the ruins of an ancient medieval castle and was opened in 1897/98 in the style of a restaurant. Since 1937, the Steinburg is in family holding of the Bezold’s. In 1951, the Steinburg was expanded to become a luxury hotel and 2012 saw the completion of the „Refugium“, a modern east wing extension, designed for conferences and corporate events.
